Exeter Engineering was founded in 1978, by Jeff Batchman. Jeff’s goal was to design lines and build equipment with cutting-edge technology, engineered with common-sense reliability and made by people who are proud of their work. Jeff started the company in the small town of Exeter, California. We were pioneers in both optical sorting and onsite engineering design. Starting with local citrus farmers, we now work with growers and packers of potatoes, sweet potatoes, bell peppers and a variety of other crops all around the world. We are still in Exeter and still dedicated to engineering the highest quality packing lines and building better sorting solutions.
